When will I be billed?

When you sign up for myCREOpoint after your free trial we ask for your credit card details so if you decide to continue using myCREOpoint beyond the free trial, you’ll be billed and receive a receipt. We ask for your billing information up-front to prevent service interruption.

What does myCREOpoint stand for?

What is the difference between CREOpoint and myCREOpoint?

CREOpoint.com started in 2008 as an online social community for the commercial real estate industry, and based on member demand, grew beyond these roots to develop a more broadly applicable collaborative personal crowdsourcing and curation software platform myCREOpoint.

How does myCREOpoint work?

myCREOpoint.com applies a proprietary algorithm with various filters to over million relevant information sources that include both traditional news sources as well as blogs and social media. Our noise-canceling technology filters out redundant headlines, false positives, specific time-wasting tweets, profanities, posts that are not in your language, and dead links to deliver you only the news you want and need where and when you need it.

myCREOpoint can be accessed on any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. There are no downloads required and no periodic updating is needed. Just click and go.

How is it different from general search engine?

CREOpoint members told us they waste about 30 minutes a day randomly searching and being interrupted by emailed alerts in an already full inbox. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.

Subscriptions

How do I sign up?

How do subscription work?

All subscriptions are currently monthly and automatically renew unless you tell us prior to the net billing data that you do not wish to continue your subscription.

Can I change or cancel plans at any time?

You adjust your plan options as your needs change.

What's your refund policy?

You can cancel your account at any time, but you are responsible for any charges that have occurred before you cancelled the subscription. Refunds cannot be issued after your initial free trial period or for partial months. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.

How do I change plans for an existing account?

You can easily upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time by logging into your account and selecting "Subscription" from the Menu (the three blue bars on the upper right of the screen).

Do I get another free trial if I upgrade an existing account?

If you upgrade from an existing account you are not eligible for another free trial. The free trial only applies when you sign up for a new account.

How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel your account at any time by logging into your account and selecting the "Subscription" from the Menu (the three blue bars on the upper right of the screen). Once you are on the Account page, click the "Please cancel my account" link.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. We ask for your billing information up-front to prevent service interruption. We only accept payments online so we will not be able to accept a P.O., invoice you, or take an order over the phone.

I want to select all my channels myself?

All channels on myCREOpoint are available on a-la-carte basis. Once you sign-up, you will be able to change to channels of your choice.

What is the minimum duration of subscribing to a-la-carte channels?

You can subscribe to a-la-carte channels for a minimum duration of 30 days.

Using myCREOpoint™

How I can access myCREOpoint™ dashboard?

If you are first time user, simply open the introductory email and click on the access link as instructed in the letter. This will bring up the login page in the browser on your device. You can save it as an icon on your home screen or as a Favorite for easy access. See detailed instructions in next section.

How to add myCREOpoint to phone home screen or favorites?

iPhone/iPad
1. Go to your dashboard or Channel
2. Click the Favorites (+) button at the bottom of Safari
3. Click "Add to Home Screen" or "Bookmark"
4. Click the "Add" button

Android
1. Go to your dashboard or Channel
2. Press the menu button on your device
3. Click Add shortcut
4. Go to home screen to see shortcut icon

Blackberry
1. Go to your dashboard or Channel
2. Press the menu button
3. Click Add to Home Screen on your device
4. Click Add

How to add myCREOpoint to home screen or favorites on my computer?

You can use any web browser to create a shortcut on your computer's desktop to a page you've visited.
1. Resize the Browser window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Browser window on the same screen.
2. Click the icon on the left of the Location bar, i.e. where the web address (URL) is shown.
3. While still holding the mouse button down, move the pointer to the desktop, then release the mouse button. the shortcut will be created.

You can also drag and drop items to the desktop from the Bookmarks menu and the Library window to create shortcuts. If you open the shortcut you made, your default browser will open, and display the page for which you made the shortcut.

Can I read the full article behind each headline?

Absolutely. Simply click on the headline you're interested in and the full article, blog or tweet will appear. If there is a pay wall (like for PERE or Business Immo), your computer will recognize your credentials or you will be prompted to register. CREOpoint, Inc. has long standing alliances with over 30 association and publishing partners so stay tuned!

How often is content updated?

Each time you access any channel, the content from every single one of our sources relevant to that channel is automatically updated. A small spinning icon will display during the update. It is not necessary for you to take any action.

Add a Channel to myFavorites

To favorite a Channel after you have followed it and like it, simply click on the star next to the Channel name. You will then find it conveniently located with your other favorite Channels in your "myFavorites" on top.

Add a Channel to mySubscriptions

You can subscribe to any Channel simply by clicking on the green button "Follow" on the right of the Channel name. Gray button "Unfollow" means you can access this Channel through your "mySubscriptions" section at the bottom.

What devices can I use to access myCREOpoint?

You can access your custom news dashboard on any PC, Mac, Smartphone or tablet. You may install and use the dashboard on as many of your devices as you wish. One price for all your devices. However you are bound by the Terms of Service not to install on any device that is not owned by you.

How do I avoid re-enter myCREOpoint password each time on my phone?

For Safari:
Step 1: Turn on your iPhone and open the Menu.
Step 2: Tap on the Settings icon and then tap Safari.
Step 3: Tap on the AutoFill option.
Step 4: Slide the Names and Passwords slider to On to start saving passwords and usernames.
Step 5: Navigate to website and type your username and password.
Step 6: Tap Log In. You'll be asked whether you want to save this password you entered.
Step 7: Tap Yes if you want to save the password. If you don't want to save the password, tap Not now or Never for this site.

For Chrome:
Step 1: Open Google Chrome. Click the wrench icon in the top, right corner of the browser window.
Step 2: Click "Options" and then click the "Personal Stuff" tab.
Step 3: In the "Passwords" section, choose "Offer to save passwords."

Which mobile devices are compatible?

From Nokia to Blackberry and Sony Ericsson, Android to iPhone, virtually every phone on the market today.

What about older and non-compatible devices?

There is a good chance it will still load, but it may load slowly and some elements may be missing.

I am having trouble connecting myCREOpoint on my mobile device

Make sure that you are connected to the internet. Check that you spelled the address correctly.

I am getting an error message, what should I do, and what caused it?

This may occur at times when our server encounters an unexpected condition which prevents it from fulfilling the request. Just know that our engineers have already automatically been notified about this issue so try again within a few minutes. If the problem persists, see below.

What if I have display issues?

For example the top of some screens suddenly turn out white below the navigation bar from time to time with some combination of browser and digital devices. We are sorry. Please click on myChannels for now and if you'd like us to look into your own configuration, please let us know here and we’ll get back to you. Thank you.
